Manuel Keßler is PI of project C06, which deals with the aeroacoustics of distributed propulsion systems. He heads the Helicopters & Aeroacoustics working group at the IAG.

Primary research interests are the high-fidelity simulation of the coupled aerodynamics and structural mechanics of helicopters and other rotorcraft configurations, as well as their aeroacoustics.
