Tobias Ring is involved in SynTrac as PI of the subproject C04 on the efficient application of the harmonic balance method for acoustic problems and the supporting subproject RTG (Research Training Group). In his work at the Institute of Acoustics and Dynamics at TU Braunschweig, he conducts research on modeling in acoustics and teaches in the fields of mechanics, acoustics and numerical mathematics.

Ralf Rudnik is the PI of sub-project A03, in which he is responsible for the configurations with the turbofan engines. He is head of the Transport Aircraft Branch at the Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology at DLR in Braunschweig.

The department deals with the design and analysis of the aerodynamics of conventional and unconventional aircraft concepts along selected operating points.
