Thorsten Lutz heads sub-project B02, which is concerned with research into local, unsteady aerodynamic interactions between propellers and laminar blades.
At the Institute of Aerodynamics and Gas Dynamics at the University of Stuttgart, Thorsten Lutz is the head of two research groups, the Wind Energy Research Group and the Aircraft Aerodynamics Research Group.
