SynTrac at Aero 2024 Friedrichshafen

AERO 2024 in Friedrichshafen took place from April 17 to 20 and SynTrac was represented as part of an exhibition area dedicated to the innovative aerospace research that the University of Stuttgart collaborates in. The event itself put a spotlight on groundbreaking engineering innovations in general aviation, featuring over 600 exhibitors presenting the latest advancements in aircraft design, avionics, and propulsion systems, including electric and hybrid technologies aimed at sustainability.

The SynTrac mission of climate neutral air travel fit very well with the themes of the exhibition and Sabine Langer, the spokesperson of the SynTrac CRC, and Andreas Strohmayer, project leader of project A06 which integrates a large number of individual effects of the SynTrac configurations at the aircraft level, represented the CRC. They took the opportunity to introduce SynTrac and its mission to the aviation community and engage in a discourse about the technological innovations envisaged for future aircraft.
