SynTrac session at the DLRK 2024 in Hamburg

From 30 September to 2 October 2024, leading aerospace experts came together at the University of Hamburg to discuss current topics in the industry. With more than 450 lectures and poster presentations, the German Aerospace Congress reached a new high this year.

SynTrac was in good company at this congress, as the focus was on the resource and climate-friendly aviation of the future and SynTrac plays a central role in research into energy-efficient aircraft with its mission of climate-neutral flight.

Prof. Dr. Ingo Staak from TU Braunschweig and head of the SynTrac sub-project A07, which looks at the integration of SynTrac results at aircraft level, moderated a dedicated SynTrac session as part of the event, in which members of the team presented their research approaches and initial results. In this session, members of all three research areas A, B and C gave presentations, representing not only initial findings, but also the different technical levels at which SynTrac is developing new methods and achieving groundbreaking results in order to find innovative answers across disciplines.

In addition, SynTrac was also represented with a presentation in a general session of the TU Berlin on the subject of aircraft design and presented the first research findings on one of the pillars of our planned innovations, the integration of the drive into the rear fuselage of the aircraft, to interested colleagues.
