The 59th Stallwächterparty: Baden-Württemberg puts a focus on aerospace
The 59th Stallwächterparty at the Baden-Württemberg State Representation in Berlin was held under the motto “THE aerospace LÄND” and focused on the aerospace industry. Around 1,800 guests enjoyed an evening that focused on the economic, cultural and culinary diversity of the federal state.
Representatives of TRR 364 SynTrac were also present and took the opportunity to emphasize the special importance of the mission of climate-neutral flight. This not only highlighted the research perspective, but also emphasized the relevance of the topic for society as a whole. The dialog with representatives from science, politics and industry as well as the general public underlined the fact that ambitious goals such as SynTrac’s can only be achieved through joint action. Successful implementation will also require convincing society of the added value of such innovations.
Events such as the Stallwächterparty are a good starting point for this. The event brought together people from a wide variety of fields and provided a platform for exchanging interests and making contacts far beyond the research community. It impressively demonstrated the importance of cooperation between all stakeholders for forward-looking projects.
Incidentally, the term “Stallwächterparty” was coined in the 1970s. As a political summer party, it symbolizes the time of the political summer break, during which the “stable guard is kept”. Since then, the Stallwächterparty has developed into an important meeting place for decision-makers from politics, business and society.
With this year’s focus on aerospace, the state representation once again underlined Baden-Württemberg’s innovative strength and diversity. The 59th Stallwächterparty offered its guests not only a look at current topics, but also an outlook on the challenges and opportunities of the future, for which the state’s universities and collaborative research centers such as SynTrac play an important role.
